Clanfield Community Centre opens for business!

The long awaited grand opening of Clanfield Community Centre took place on Saturday 17th November and was opened by Lieutenant Commander Emma McCormick, a local sporting hero and a double Gold Medal winner at the Invictus Games. ‘The Clanfield Café’ also opened within the centre, which offers freshly brewed coffee, tea and locally prepared cakes and sandwiches. Everyone can enjoy the café and all its delicious offerings whether they are using the facilities or not, so it’s a fantastic place for a quick coffee or long lunch.

Clanfield has waited a long time for the new Centre and are immensely proud of the new facility brought about by the hard work, commitment and dedication of the Parish Council, the Trustees of the Foundation and colleagues at EHDC.

The centre offers a variety of classes for all ages and abilities, from Boxercise to Ballet, as well as indoor and outdoor spaces available to hire for badminton, netball, football and dance. You can see the full list of classes on offer via the website

The venue is a place for all members from the local communities to meet, be active, improve their health and wellbeing, meet socially and take advantage of the superb facilities and activities on offer.
