A Christmas gift for our nurses at The Rosemary Foundation
Our volunteers and supporters at The Rosemary Foundation have recently enjoyed one of our most successful Christmas periods, raising more than £8,000 through selling cards and holding events.
We sold more than 1,000 packs of our Christmas Cards through a variety of outlets and Christmas events, with only 20 packs remaining which will be sold this Christmas (only 11 months to go).
However, our volunteers don’t sit on our laurels and we are already looking at designs for our 2018 cards.
A Christmas fair at East Meon raised more than £4000 and local pubs and clubs also supported us, including £1,750 from the Solent Metal Detecting Club and £4,065 from the Emsworth Flower Club.
The Queen’s Head in Sheet and the Jolly Drover near Liss also deserve special mention, as does the Emsworth Concert Band’s Magic of Christmas concert at Bedales.
