Fareham Goes Vintage

A brand new event arrives in Fareham town centre this summer on Saturday 12 July. From 9.30am to 4.30pm, West Street’s outdoor pedestrian area will host a retro Vintage Fair. Here you’ll find a mix of vehicles including iconic camper vans, scooters, and Mini’s, music of the era, plus a range of local vintage traders stalls selling everything from clothing and jewellery to kitchenware and home ware.

So, whether you want to just stroll around and look the part in your own retro clothing or you come to enjoy the music and browse the goods for sale, this event will be one not to miss!

In the Performance Podium, entertainment will be provided by local artistes One4theRoadLive (acoustic duo performing well-known hits from the 60’s), Nathan Newman (solo artist, 60’s Brit pop) and Miss Hayley Fisher (solo artist of jazz, blues and soul).

Visitors may also like to pop along to Westbury Manor Museum from 10am to 2pm to view and even try on Hampshire Museum collections of clothing and accessories from the ‘40s to the ‘70s as part of their free Handbags and Glad Rags event. This follows on from A Great Night Out at Westbury Manor Museum from 7pm to 9pm on Friday 11 July.

Bookings required for this great Vintage themed event with music, wine, nibbles and lovely museum collections from vintage eras when a great night out was something to get dressed up for! …
