Something for everyone
A giant indoor Christmas charity market comes to Petersfield Festival Hall on Saturday 5th December, featuring more than 70 stalls.
The traditional family-run event is in aid of Portsmouth Hospital's Rocky Appeal, raising funds for digital keyhole operating theatres of the future.
Other charities aiming to raise cash at the event will include the Rosemary Foundation, a co-operative support group for Palestine, the Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre at Sidlesham and Petersfield Music Festival.
There will also be plenty of trade and craft stands, selling everything from jewellery, collectables, toys and books to cakes, marmalade, mince pies and jams.
A stall specialising in candles will be set up on the stage, while in the main hall there will be stalls selling bargain-priced household goods and stationery, vintage items and antiques.
The popular knitted gifts stall returns to the Rose Room, where there will also be lunches and refreshments. A Rocky Appeal raffle is to be held in the foyer.
The market takes place from 9.30am to 3pm and admission is free.
