Packed market brings plenty of Christmas cheer
A magical start to the festive season is in store at the Petersfield Christmas market on Sunday 6th December.
Taking over the centre of Petersfield from 10am to 3.30pm, the market will be bursting with festive spirit, with a wealth of shopping and plenty of activities to keep visitors entertained all day.
Hometown Festivals have organised more than 100 stalls to attend the event, featuring everything from jewellery, quilts, blankets and clothing to meats, preserves and cheeses, along with decorations, games and cards.
Festive activities include a Santa’s Grotto in Jake’s Toys on Chapel Street, children’s shows on the hour from Strawberry Dan, bouncy castles, rides and local firefighters in attendance.
Throughout the day, there will be plenty of talented acts performing in the two entertainment zones.
Meanwhile, Petersfield Museum will be hosting an historic town walk, starting 2.30pm at St Peter’s Church. A £5 donation towards the museum is requested from everyone taking part.
The Petersfield Festival Market will run in collaboration with Hampshire Farmers Markets’ December market in the Square.
