A bright future

Established in 1986, The Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre in Sidlesham is a registered charity which takes in unwanted, abandoned and stray animals, giving them treatment and support to lead a better life of wellbeing and health while seeking a new, loving owner.

My name is Yogi, a 10-year-old furry ginger cat.

I arrived at The Cat & Rabbit Rescue Centre on the 20th October 2015 due to my owner moving to where they couldn’t have pets.

I did live with 15 other cats, but I quite like being on my own as I get more attention and don’t have to fight for my food.  I was treated so nicely at The Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre and all the people that work there loved me.

Sadly though, I stayed there for three months as no one wanted to adopt an old boy like me. My luck changed when a nice family came to see me at the cat viewing day in January. They were looking for an older cat like me and decided to adopt me.  I was a bit scared for a few days, but now I live happily in my new house with my new family where I can chase my tail and hug my people all day long. I'm the luckiest cat there is and can’t stop purring as I’m so happy to be loved so much.   Yogi Cat x

The next CRRC Cat Viewing Day is on Saturday 26th March, from 12noon-2.00pm. Contact The Cat & Rabbit Rescue Centre on 01243 641409 or email info@crrc.co.uk
