Packed to the rafters
Petersfield Festival Hall will be full to the brim with stalls at a giant indoor Easter market on Easter Saturday 26th March, in aid of Portsmouth Hospitals Rocky Appeal.
Traders and craftspeople from across the area will be supporting the event with collectables, bric-a-brac, toys, greetings cards, embroidery, old postcards and silver jewellery.
Easter gifts, cakes, marmalade, and chutneys will also be on sale, alongside bargain-priced household goods, stationery, handbags, games, knitted doll’s clothes and a giant book stall.
Other charities will also be running fundraising stalls for local good causes, including the Rosemary Foundation hospice-at-home nurses and Petersfield Open Air Swimming Pool.
A Rocky Appeal raffle is to be held in the foyer and a café will serve refreshments in the Rose Room, also in aid of the hospital appeal, which aims to raise funds towards digital keyhole operating theatres of the future.
Admission to the market is free and the event is open from 9.30am to 3pm. For stall bookings and further details, call 01730 264802.
