On yer bike!
Rowans Ride, formerly known as The Ruby Ride, is back for the fifth year with a choice of three challenging routes to suit cyclists of all abilities.
This event appeals to everyone from the ‘leisure’ cyclist to the serious eventer; it’s a great opportunity to get on your bikes and take part in a healthy activity with family and friends, whilst raising money to help support people in the local community who are affected by life-limiting illnesses.
You can choose the ‘leisure’ route, which goes around Portsmouth, the ‘challenge’ route which includes a refreshment stop at the hospice in Purbrook or the ‘epic’ route which goes all the way up to Petersfield and back down the Meon Valley; all start and finish at Lakeside North Harbour.
Rowans Ride takes place on Sunday 2nd October and registration is open to everyone, so visit www.rowanshospice.co.uk for more information and to register.
