T Fest Held At Treloars In July - The Directory Group

T-Fest held at Treloar’s in July

The weather was fabulous for the third annual T-Fest held at Treloar’s in July.  T-Fest is a music festival run and managed by our TFE (Transition to Further Educations) classes, our equivalent to a Sixth Form.  Every year gets better and better and the students who organise it use it as part of their learning.

There were a variety of different music acts, including Treloar Students as well as Alton & Petersfield Rock Choir, Stepping Stones School and local band The Fetcham Draught.

We were very pleased to welcome volunteers from Virgin Media’s finance team who helped us run games for the students to take part in whist they listened to the music.  The students really appreciated their support and Sophie from TFE said “Thank you for helping out with T-Fest.  You are all superstars.  I hope you enjoyed yourselves.  We couldn’t have done it without you” – glowing thanks indeed!

The day was filled with music and singing, plus plenty of games and activities to try whilst they listened.   All the TFE students had a fantastic day, and thanks to their hard work, the rest of the School and College (and staff!) enjoyed themselves too.
