Raising money for local animal hospital

A charity which runs a wild hospital held an event on November 29 to raise cash for its ongoing operations.

Hart Wildlife Rescue, based in Alton, lead a talk at Chawton Village Hall raising awareness of garden creatures.

The event which was split in to two talks educated people on the importance of preserving local wildlife.

Marina Christopher spoke on ‘Wildlife Gardening’ with the second presentation by Chris Matcham on ‘Hedgehogs’ which are in decline due to loss of habitat.
