Let’s see our doctor’s surgery stay for good says Emsworth residents
Residents from Emsworth are being urged to sign a petition to prevent a doctor’s surgery from closing.
The practice is proposed to relocate to the far edge of the village to a building which is yet to be built and funded by the NHS transformation fund.
But local people are concerned this will affect about 9,000 people who currently have good public transport links to the surgery.
Many are also within a 15-minute walk of the two current facilities.
The news comes as a bit to cut costs on local spending for the NHS. Those objecting the process say there has been minimal consultation and the local Clinical Commissioning Group have to ensure they consult patients.
