A new community messaging system will improve the flow of information between the police and members of the public.
Hampshire Alert will inform people of crime and anti-social behaviour reported across Hampshire – with the aim of keeping communities safe.
The programme will be a free web based system, allowing you to choose the method you would like to read the data available, be it through email, text or phone.
Hayling Island, who have trailed the new feature, are finding the system informative with more than 750 residents engaging with the service.
Signing up to the service takes no more than 2 minutes.
A verification email will be sent to those using the service. Once verified the recipient will start to receive informative messages.
