Hundreds of walkers, joggers and runners set for the Clanfield Challenge

A popular racing event for all ages and abilities is back for the people of Clanfield later this month.

The Clanfield Challenge, which takes place on Saturday 20th May, will see hundreds of walkers, joggers and runners participate in a variety of different races.

There’s something for everyone at the annual event. Their website states: “The volunteers behind the Clanfield Challenge have purposefully created a range of runs so that anyone can take part.

“If you're a seasoned runner, regular walker or beginner seeking a test then the 12 kilometre Clanfield Challenge could be perfect for you.

“If you're just getting started with jogging, want to take part to support your community but don't normally run or simply fancy a lighter stroll, then the 5 kilometre Clanfield Challenge might be preferable.

“And, if you want to get your toddlers and children involved in a fun and healthy activity, then enter them into the 1 kilometre Clanfield Challenge.”

Money raised on the day is poured back into future community projects, all while focusing on raising the profile of the village, welcoming new people to the area and also providing a platform for local business and community groups to communicate with locals.

Regardless of ability, there will be something for all at this event. For more information, go to www.clanfieldchallenge.co.uk
