HART Charity Shop Celebrates 10 Years!
HART Wildlife Rescue is proud to announce that it’s very own charity shop in Alton is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary! The charity was founded in 1996 by June and Bob Gibbs, known then as the Hampshire Animal Rescue Team. HART has needed to change and grow to meet the need of the ever-increasing casualties brought in, with the hospital now dealing with well over a thousand casualties every year.
This year sees our charity shop celebrate its 10th year of trading. The shop is essential in raising much needed funds for the charity, and we want to share our celebrations with the local community that has supported us in getting to this point. We are organising a fundraising day at Bank Car Park on Sunday 26th August from 10:00am to 17:00pm. The event will host a car boot sale, jumble sale, tombola, craft stalls and there will even be some wildlife education there for those interested in learning more about the wildlife around us and how we can help it.
