Explore the South Downs Way by Bus this Summer

The South Downs Rambler takes the scenic route from Winchester to Petersfield and back again via the: Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium, Views of Cheesefoot Head, Gardens of Hinton Ampner, Iron Age fort at Old Winchester Hill, Luxurious Langrish House Hotel and two traditional village pubs.

The South Downs Rambler is a new, summer only route, funded by the Three Rivers and East Hampshire Community Rail Partnerships and Cross-Country Trains. The South Downs Rambler is operated by Bluestar to offer visitors the chance to explore rural Hampshire in a relaxed and sustainable way.

The ride will include breath-taking views, visible prehistory, excellent pubs and pretty villages with easy access to the South Downs Way and rail links at Winchester and Petersfield South Downs Rambler.

Every driver on the South Downs Rambler has local knowledge and will be happy to offer guidance and answer any questions about the beautiful South Downs.
