Get into the Christmas spirit with Molly’s Den Winchester

Winchester’s Molly’s Den will be hosting a special Christmas fundraiser to help children in Hampshire.

The emporium at Easton Lane will be open for late night shopping in the run-up to Christmas on Thursday, November 29, and Thursday, December 13, until 9pm.

At the December 13 late night event, the team will be offering shoppers a free glass of wine and mince pie and there will be festive music.

Being as it’s Christmas and the season to raise a smile, the Molly’s Den team will be raising money on December 13 for charity Cash for Kids. Shoppers will get the chance to win £100 of Molly’s Den shopping vouchers in the raffle and all proceeds will go to the charity.

The charity helps children in Hampshire and focuses on alleviating poverty, supporting disability and improving quality of life. The team held a fundraiser earlier in the year for the good cause and are hoping to top up their total further with the new event.

Owner of Molly’s Den, John East-Rigby, who recently celebrated the first anniversary of taking over the business, said they were delighted to support the charity.

He said: “Christmas is a time for family and friends. It’s a time to look back on the year and look forward to the new one. It’s also about giving and realising how lucky we are. Sadly, there are many children living in poverty who need help and support. We wanted to host an event to try and raise as much money for this great charity as possible.

“There will be a host of events, a free glass of wine and a mince pie, music and of course, lots of great Christmas gift ideas all under the one roof at the emporium. Please come and join us and spread a bit of festive cheer this year.”

He added: “And remember, it’s not too late to join us for Christmas and set up your own shop at Molly’s Den. We look forward to seeing you soon.”

From Christmas gift ideas, to decoration and even an elf costume or two, there will be lots of delight shoppers young and old. Dogs are also welcome to join in the fun and the café will be open for the late night shopping events.
