March Is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month - The Directory Group

March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month!

March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Ovarian cancer is the UK’s deadliest gynaecological disease, but many women are unaware of the symptoms.

The charity, Target Ovarian Cancer says that the earlier a woman is diagnosed with ovarian cancer the more likely she will respond to treatment. However, most women are diagnosed once the disease has already spread.

This Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, The Directory Group are urging readers to join forces to make sure that more women are diagnosed earlier to help save lives! It's so vital that we keep raising awareness and funding research if we are going to create a better future for the thousands of women affected by the disease. You can help by raising awareness through things like social media and putting up posters at work. Or you can raise money through organising a ‘Walk in Her Name’ in your local area with friends and family.  Visit the Target Ovarian Cancer website today to sign up receive your fundraising pack and help fight Ovarian Cancer
